I've always had a flair for extreme stylistic expressions. Starting in nursery school I had to be more stylish than my peers. But the reason I'm in a bathing suit in the photo was to facilitate getting me cleaned up after I'd play with clay and get that terra cotta color ALL OVER ME!  In grade school I couldn't concentrate on reading until I was able to rearrange the classroom into something more harmonious than rows of desks...so I convinced the teacher to put the desks in a more harmonious design that you'd recognize today as a tiled layout. In high school I found clay, glaze and a hot, hot kiln made me very, very happy.

Living in Lakota, Iowa makes me happy, too. Lakota Iowa where the men are burly and the women are amazingly creative!  There are only about 200 people and I know most of them and they are quite accepting of me and my sense of style...yes, I still wear leopard prints...But I've had lasik surgery and no longer need the glasses!

I've lived life as an artist and an actress, seeing my photo above, I'm sure you aren't surprised. I've spent years touring and presenting my wall art tiles at art shows throughout this amazing country. I landed in Lakota when I came home to help mom deal with some health issues.  But so many of my past customers asked me to send photos of my latest works and kept nagging me to put it all on the internet...So I finally gave in. We are working on Facebook and Twitter next...OMG!! That said, it's the ideal situation - I have lots of time for mom and she even helps with the marketing! If you had a daughter this cute, wouldn't you want her to come home?

I still have the naturally curly hair and my figure is pretty much in the same shape as you see in the photo. I guess what I'm saying is that I'm not wasting artistic energies on me, but instead putting all that into wall art tiles that can make your special place all the more spectacular!

I also continue to produce unique ceramic accent tiles that are hand-sculpted and styled with multiple glazings that you won't find at the local tile liquidator warehouse. This is not cheap tile, as you can find that anywhere...and maybe you will want to do your kitchen backs plash with low cost tiles and use my accent tiles for the garnish on the plate and the frosting on the cake!
